FlowTempo was founded by medical students exploring how fragmented operational information contributes to delay. The team is developing the product through hospital discovery, technical testing and bounded evaluation.
Founders
The founders combine experience of NHS environments with interests in machine learning, clinical research and product development. Hospital partners and domain specialists will be essential to validating the work.
Co-founder and CEO
Akshay is a fourth-year medical student at the University of York with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning. His clinical research and AI/ML projects inform how he approaches evidence, workflow and product development. As CEO and co-founder, he works with hospital operations teams to understand where bespoke machine-learning tools could support more efficient patient flow.
Co-founder and COO
Prithwish is a medical student, co-founder and COO of FlowTempo. His experience in healthcare environments contributes to the team’s understanding of the day-to-day operational friction affecting patient flow, while his role focuses on turning those observations into a practical and testable company direction.
Advisor
Ramaa brings 20 years of IT project-management and data-management experience across Orange, Staples, Lucent, Honeywell, Nissan and Honda. She has also founded and led three international schools in Tokyo and completed a master's degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, bringing FlowTempo a cross-sector perspective on how well-structured data supports better decisions.
How we work
FlowTempo starts by mapping the operational question, available data and people responsible for acting. Pilot evidence, technical feasibility and hospital governance then determine whether the proposed tool deserves to progress.
